Moner Angon was born from a deeply personal place.
Growing up, I witnessed the quiet strength and sacrifices my mother carried every day for her family, for those around her, and often at the expense of her own well-being. Like so many mothers, she moved through life without the support, understanding, or mental health care she truly deserved. Her struggles were held silently, never fully seen or spoken about.
There are moments when I still wonder how different her experience might have been if she had been given a safe space to be heard, supported, and cared for.
While I cannot change my mother’s past, I can help shape a different future for other mothers.
Our mission is to support maternal mental health through compassionate care, awareness, and community-based support. We aim to break the stigma surrounding maternal mental health and create safe, accessible spaces where mothers can openly share, heal, and seek help without fear of judgment.
We envision a world where mothers are not expected to carry everything alone. A world where seeking help is not seen as weakness, but as strength. A world where every mother has the space to heal, grow, and feel supported through every stage of her journey.
Maternal mental health refers to a mother’s emotional, psychological, and social wellbeing throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and every stage of motherhood. While becoming a mother is often described as a joyful experience, it can also bring unexpected emotional challenges, life transitions, and overwhelming responsibilities.
Supporting maternal mental health isn’t only about addressing mental health conditions—it’s about creating an environment where mothers feel safe, supported, connected, and empowered to care for both themselves and their families.
Recognizing and supporting the emotional changes that can occur during pregnancy and after childbirth with compassion and professional care.
Helping mothers navigate overwhelming responsibilities, persistent worries, and emotional exhaustion before they become barriers to wellbeing.
Encouraging stronger communication, supportive relationships, and meaningful community connections that contribute to long-term emotional wellbeing.
Creating a culture where asking for help is seen as a sign of strength, not weakness, and where every mother feels respected, heard, and understood.
Motherhood often reshapes personal identity, relationships, and daily life. Understanding these changes helps mothers adapt with confidence and self-compassion.
Supporting mothers in managing everyday emotions, building resilience, and maintaining a healthy sense of self throughout motherhood.
A mother’s emotional wellbeing influences every aspect of her life—from how she cares for herself to how she connects with her child, partner, and community. Prioritizing maternal mental health is not only an investment in mothers; it is an investment in healthier families and stronger communities.
When mothers receive the support they need, they are better equipped to manage stress, navigate challenges, and embrace motherhood with greater confidence and resilience.
A mother's mental wellbeing plays an important role in building positive relationships, improving communication, and creating a nurturing home environment for the entire family.
Children thrive when they grow up in emotionally supportive environments. Supporting mothers contributes to healthier emotional, social, and developmental outcomes for children.
Open conversations about maternal mental health encourage more mothers to seek support without fear, shame, or judgment, helping create a culture of compassion and understanding.
At Moner Angon, we believe that when a mother is supported, an entire family is strengthened.
We are here to walk alongside mothers, not to judge their journey, but to support it.
Because no mother should ever have to carry her burdens alone.
